Brooke Naylor

Brooke Naylor grew up in Jupiter, Florida where she received versatile ballet and contemporary training at A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts. She was fortunate to train under teachers such as Jan Hanniford, Maria Konrad, Michele Zehner, Danielle Armstrong, and Jerry Opdenaker. In Florida, Brooke had many opportunities to work with prestigious choreographers like Margo Sappington, Troy Powell, Christopher Huggins, Jennifer Archibald, and Rick McCullough.

After graduating high school in 2011, she moved to New York City to attend the Ailey/Fordham B.F.A. program where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in May, 2015. At the Ailey School, she had the honor to work with legendary teachers including Milton Myers, Nancy Turano, and Jacqulyn Buglisi. She also performed works by Martha Graham, Alvin Ailey, Norbert de la Cruz III, Robyn Mineko Williams, Ray Mercer and many more. Brooke has attended many distinguished summer programs, including Jacob’s Pillow contemporary program (2013) and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago
(2010,2011, 2012, 2014.)

In 2014, Brooke apprenticed with Parsons Dance. She then joined Steps Repertory Ensemble as a company member for their 2015-2016 season. With Steps, Brooke performed works by Artistic Director, Bradley Shelver, along with, Lar Lubovitch, Sidra Bell, and Julia Ehrstrand. She then went on to join Nimbus Dance Works as a second company member from 2016-2017. Brooke continues to be based out of NYC. She is currently a member of Ballet Nepantla, with whom she is getting to perform versatile repertory and tour many U.S. cities. She is also dancing with Winnie Berger’s, Mook Dance Company, whom she has been with since 2015.

Brooke has known Jeffery since they both attended the Orlando Ballet Summer Program in 2008. It is such a joy to be dancing with him again in their professional careers. Brooke was a part of the creation process for “Efil Ym Fo Flah (Half of My Life).” She is so grateful to have had the experiences to perform at the Joyce Theater, Vineyard Arts Project, and Cape Dance Festival as a member of the collective. Brooke has been with Cirio Collective since 2016.
